So keep that in mind as I review skin products in the future. Now, a year later, my skin is behaving a lot better. I have tried several medications and several different skin products. My quality of life has improved dramatically and I am no longer stressed like I was a year ago.
I love skin care! If I loved science I would have been a Dermatologist. My top favorite skin care items are face masks and tools. I try out new masks quite often and thought I should go ahead and review them since they are quite pricey to just try blindly.
I purchased Evanhealy's French Rose Clay with Moroccan Rhassoul Clay at my local Whole Foods. I normally don't buy on a whim but was drawn to this one out of desperation to calm my skin. I tend to use natural products that won't irritate my skin or add unnecessary chemicals.
It claims to refine skin texture, detoxify, and exfoliate the skin. I believe it does just that. I usually mix a small bit of clay into a glass cup and pour bottled water until the mixture is thick and rosy. I prefer more clay than water, it dries on the skin much more evenly.
It exfoliates and removes dead skin without being abrasive at. Every time I wash it off my skin looks bright and soft. The color is a rosy pink when it's wet and dries to a lighter pink. I love that there isn't a smell to the mask. I personally stay away from any skincare that has too much of a scent.
I wasn't expecting to love this mask as much as I did. I think it's made a huge difference in my skin and has been one of the major reasons my acne has subsided. I think it does everything a mask should do without stripping my skin of important oils.
As you can see there is a tiny bit of powder left. Will I repurchase this? Definitely. I bought this while it was on sale and although it's a little pricey at around $25, it's worth it. I have tried very pricey masks and would prefer this to any of those. I am also excited to try their other products since this one now holds a permanent place in my skincare routine.
